Derek Hale

Derek Hale is a beta type werewolf. He comes from a family or pack of werewolves that were almost wiped out in a fire at their home in Beacon Hills some years prior to the events of the first episode Wolf Moon. Only Derek, his sister Laura Hale and his uncle Peter Hale, now non-responsive and badly scarred, survived the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
